I spent years as an accountant working with small businesses, sole traders and self-employed people just like you.
I saw the same thing over and over: smart, capable people getting tangled up in tax rules that were never explained to them properly, feeling embarrassed to ask "silly" questions, and putting off their accounts until it became a crisis instead of a checklist.
So I've decided to do something about it.
WHY NUMBER-WISE EXISTS
Number-wise is for the Etsy seller who started as a hobby and is now wondering if HMRC cares. It's for the Vinted seller doing a January clear-out who's heard "side hustle tax" and panicked. It's for the person building a business around a new season of life - after redundancy, through menopause, alongside a new baby, or simply because they wanted work that fit their life instead of the other way round.
